 If you have used computers for a few years, I think its safe to say that you’ve been hit at least once by viruses or malware. I learned my lesson the hard way a few years ago and totally lost my work horse PC. Due to some virus that destroyed my files and applications I had to start over from scratch reload all of my applications. Once done I had recovered about 70% of what I had lost from various zip files, old backup tapes and a few CD’s that I had burned data. If you don’t want to shell out cash paying monthly or yearly for offsite backup solutions, creating an image/clone of your computer is the way to go.
